Doğuhan Enerji’s journey began in 1993 with industrial structures and factory construction. In 1996, through a strategic decision, we carried this well-established construction expertise into the renewable energy sector, which was only beginning to emerge in Türkiye at the time.
During those early years, when we laid the foundations of Türkiye’s first Wind Power Plant (WPP), we gained first-hand experience of the sector’s construction needs directly in the field. Over time, we evolved from a company focused solely on turbine foundations into a contractor capable of undertaking the full scope of heavy civil works within a project. We opened kilometers of access roads across challenging terrain and built large-scale crane platforms in demanding site conditions.
As we expanded our service scope, we also took on the entire construction and infrastructure processes of switchyards and energy transmission lines, which form the heart of a power plant. This enabled us to become a highly capable Main Civil Works Contractor, providing investors with all on-site construction support they need from the survey stage through to turnkey delivery, under a single point of responsibility.
Building on the solid foundations laid by our founders, we accelerated our growth by combining this legacy with the vision and dynamism of our second-generation leadership. We carried the expertise we deepened in Türkiye into international markets through Helios Energy, our European subsidiary established in 2022. Starting with Romania, we expanded our presence in Europe by adding Solar Power Plant (SPP) projects alongside wind energy developments. With this next-generation perspective, we now successfully manage site development and construction works for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), the latest frontier of energy technology, both in Türkiye and across Europe.
